Batab is a creative fusion of four elements: traditional Mayan healing knowledge; indigenous flora of the Yucatan peninsula; potent minerals of the Chicxulub crater; and modern skin care technology. Our products use organic and exotic ingredients indigenous only in the Yucatan Peninsula, where an asteroid hit the earth 65 million years ago. We utilize these plants and minerals from the Chicxulub Crater to create Batab sunscreens, insect repellent, burn lotion and MayaSolar® bath and body products. Mayans have used the ingredients spawned from the crater for thousands of years to protect and beautify their skin and hair.

Batab carefully cultivates these tropical plants, herbs, spices, minerals, sea salt and seaweed that .........

Owning a meat grinder shows you want to take time to prepare your meat for healthy eating. Taking a few steps before you use the grinder and after each use enables you to have the product for years to come. I recommend  certain steps that are common to those who hunt or truly love meat and the meat they consume.

Step 1:

Read the part list that comes with your grinder. Separate each part to make assembly and dis-assembly faster and easier each time you use the product. Hand wash with warm soapy water prior to first use. Hand dry each part carefully to avoid bacteria and corrosion. This is important for grinders made of Chrome, Iron, Stainless Steel and ‘Tinned-.........

Studies conducted at Michigan State University conclude food dehydration increases the shelf life of fruit, vegetables and other produce close to one (1) year.  The Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO.org) of the United Nations specifies Banana chips last only two (2) months from solar dehydration. The sun adds a variable that there is not any reliable data on. We do not recommend solar dehydration as the sun is not predictable in the midwest and eastern United States.  Another study conducted at Colorado State University Extension Program specified one (1) year for vegetables to begin losing their nutritional value. The drying process from dehydrationfor calories, iron and fiber maintains integrity and most of the value of......

Meat Slicers are part of American food preparation. The product dates back to the nineteenth century. The first American  Meat Slicer came as early as 1909. They were at one time, an integral part of American manufacturing of food preparation products. The development occurred to slice more meat more quickly in delicatessens and butcher shops. As the twentieth century progressed, Meat Slicers became part of kitchens in the United States. With minimal advertising, the products showed value for slicing meats for snacks and meals. Soon after the second world war, meat slicer use became part of healthy lunches for students as well as for those taking lunches to work in bags and lunch boxes.

Meat grinders come with electric and manual or hand operation models. The configuration of the models specifies the sizes. The power of the motor with electric models determines product weight. The size determines storage of the grinder before next use. All meat grinders are made in China. Electric meat grinders are made from aluminum, chrome, iron and stainless steel. Manual models are mostly made from chrome, iron, tinned-iron and stainless steel. They use a handle to move the auger. The hopper size if the grinder is a 'clamped-on' or a 'bolt-down' model determines it's size and weight.

How much time are you willing to spend to eat healthy? How much are you willing to change to improve your health? These are questions are important to use as on ongoing basis for self-examination as well as rhetorical. Remember the saying "a little planning goes a long way." By simply taking a few moments to think or write down sample menus to plan for the next grocery shopping trip is an easy way to reduce eating-out or even the thought of 'living-in-the-moment' lifestyle that thrives on this enabling loss of time and structure enabling frequent trips for lower quality or even fast food.

This is the beginning of unhealthy eating. This is the beginning of weight gain. This is the beginning of a lowered immune system.........

Now is the perfect time to Dehydrate your produce. This is the time of year to do this. Gardens are ripe with Tomatoes, Squash, Lettuce and a variety of produce that is far too long to write in a Blog post. Even if you do not have a garden, stores of all sizes have an abundance from farms throughout North America. Everywhere I drive, Corn is at heights from four to six (4-6) feet. Soon, that vegetable too will be ripe in abundance.

When you see a sale at the store, owning a Food Dehydrator, enables you to purchase more Fruits and Vegetables than ever. The produce lasts from six (6) to eleven (11) months without a need to refrigerate or store in air-tight containers. Now, none of us have an excuse to not take advantage of all the ripe.........

I like to think of eating as a way to nurture my body. I know that 20% of the nutrients consumed are required by my brain. This includes carbohydrates too. I know that when I eat things my body does not need or does not like, I create a sequence of events that possess the power of serious problems. Maybe not immediately, but sooner or later, problems will occur. How can I avoid problems? I can only reduce the chances of health problems occurring.  I know I am a person and not just a statistic. I know I have at least some control in this. I also know, but do not always admit that I not only have to commit, but also follow-up and follow through with what I am able to. My health and happiness depend on this.         &.........
